Sigillo
Pasta shape based on wax seals and created using an engraved wooden stamp. Branding and packaging is based on a world-building project I have been developing and the question, "what would their national pasta be?"
The scales are one of the main symbols of the country with the pattern on the sides being based off of a “Pawn”, one of the coins in the currency system. The coin and name represents a totally “law-abiding” organization funding itself through the sale of pasta. Herolds is a partial anagram of the organization with the full anagram on the back, written as “Heroldst”, for those who choose to look.
An ideal order and process was discovered throughout the development
process. This allows for a quick, fresh pasta using a simple semolina dough.

Create your semolina dough. Proper ratio of Semolina and Water will depend on where you live, although it is generally a 2:1 ratio.

Roll your dough into long strips, size will depend on your stamp and desired size of pasta.

Cut strips into small equal sections. Coat everything in semolina.

Once everything is covered in semolina, roll them into balls. You can accomplish the pasta without this step but it creates a more uniform pasta for cooking.

Use stamp on each ball to create the shape. If pasta is sticking to the stamp it means you need more semolina.

Once all stamped, cook in boiling water. Pasta is ready when it is floating in the water. Remove with a ladle and coat in sauce immediately to prevent sticking. Enjoy!
